The Saul Scheidlinger Scholarship Award
The Saul Scheidlinger Scholarship Award has been established by the Westchester Group Psychotherapy Society to provide a 3-day scholarship for the American Group Psychotherapy Association's Annual Conference to a new professional specializing in work with adolescents.
Dr. Saul Scheidlinger, a member, now deceased, of our society, was a highly esteemed member of the American Group Psychotherapy Association community. A past-president of that association, he was also editor of the International Journal of Group Psychology for many years and the author of more than 40 books and articles about group therapy, delineating previously unmarked territory in theoretical understandings of how group works.
